Supported by the population and the Barreau de la Beauce, the SPB is born of the desire to keep the judicial archives of the Beauce district within the region.

After several years of financial struggles, the SPB is forced to close to the public.
Formation of a re-start committee
An administrative reorganization is initiated.
Re-opening of the SPB
Thanks to the hard work of the re-start committee and to some funding from the ministère des Affaires municipales et de l'Habitation, the SPB hires a new team and resumes its activities.
