Architectural patrimony inventory
From 1978 to 1980, the Beauce Historical Society
(La Société du
patrimoine des Beaucerons) puts together an architectural inventory of
the main buildings and the most beautiful homes located in municipalities
along the valley of the Chaudière river
This inventory of the built beauceron heritage contains 2 624 architectural index cards with photos of buildings taken at the time of the project. All the houses of Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce were then listed. The information that may be found there are details like building date, names of the manufacturers and lists of the owners.
